Hey everyone and welcome to Gardening with Ben. A little tip for you today. If you were
0:07
growing poppies, which we grew some absolutely beautiful ones, which I'll show you a picture
0:13
of in the next clip. So as you can see they're absolutely gorgeous. So what we're going to
0:22
do is we're going to save the seed heads for next year so that we can grow more of these
0:27
poppies as they're absolutely phenomenal and they look absolutely gorgeous. So we want
0:32
more of these poppies to grow next year and hopefully have a fantastic display down here
0:37
at the allotment. So let's save the seed heads. So as you can see we've got nice big seed
0:44
heads on my where my poppies were. So what we're going to do is we're going to snip them
0:50
off and we're going to dry them out and save these seed heads for next year. So as you
0:56
can see we've snipped them off so we need to leave these to dry out and then remember
1:01
where we've saved them for next year so that we can start them off again, sow them and
1:06
grow some beautiful poppies and we'll have absolutely thousands inside this big one definitely
1:12
So yeah it saves you money and produces your flowers in the long run. So we've popped them
1:19
in a little pot and we're going to keep them in this shed where it's nice and dry and warm
1:23
so that hopefully they dry out pretty well and we can save them to sow next year. So
1:30
I hope you've liked that little gardening tip for today to help you get more flowers
