ππ½ Feeding Pumpkins & Sweetcorn | Secret to Bigger Harvests!
Want bigger pumpkins and fuller corn cobs? ππ½ Hereβs a simple UK-friendly feeding plan. Start with plenty of compost/manure at planting plus a balanced base feed. Pumpkins: give a light nitrogen side-dress early to build vines, then switch to a weekly high-potash (tomato) feed from first female flowers; mulch and water deeply to keep nutrients available. Sweetcorn: side-dress nitrogen at 20β30 cm tall (and again at knee-high), then add extra potash at tassel/silk to pack kernels. Top up micronutrients with seaweed/comfrey tea, keep moisture steady, and ease off high nitrogen once fruit/cobs are forming. #Pumpkins #Sweetcorn #BiggerHarvests #UKGardening #GrowYourOwn #Allotment #TomatoFeed #HighPotash #ComfreyTea #SeaweedFeed #Mulch #DeepWatering #NoDig #GardeningTips #GardeningWithBen
