You will need:

  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 120g gram flour (chickpea flour)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric

  • Salt, to taste
  • Water (to bind)
  • Oil, for frying
