- Now is the time to be sowing broad beans in pots or in the ground. If you live in a mild area you can place them in a greenhouse or polytunnel.
- If you are planning on growing massive onions – start the seeds off now in seed trays. Place these in a warm room to give them a head start. Don’t plant out till the risk of frost has gone.
- You can now start chitting potatoes these can be ordered online if they are not in the shops near you. Place them in a tray in a frost free light room.
- Sow celery and celeriac in seed trays but place them in a warm room to get them germinating.
