  • You can start rhubarb from seed in a warm propagator or you can wait a couple of months for it to get warmer. Rhubarb is very is to start from seed.
  • If you are wanting an early crop of Strawberries put them undercover or in the greenhouse. This will encourage you to be picking them a month earlier.
  • If the ground is decent you can now plant bare-rooted trees in January.
  • Plant raspberry canes – these need to be in a sunny area with free draining soil.
  • Plant blueberry bushes – these need to be grown in ericaceous soil or compost so you may want to plant them in pots.
