them. So what are we doing today? We are harvesting our cucumbers. We're now about on October the 19th

and our cucumber plants are dying off so they're ready to harvest and ready to clear now these

are ones that have grown outside i had some spare plants and i thought i'm going to stick

him in outside see how they'd grow and they went absolutely wild and they were all hidden away all the

cucumbers but now they're dying back we can see where they all are and we can get them all harvested

and clear the area ready for springtime so let's take a look and see what we're harvesting today

So this is the area where the cucumber plants were growing. As you can see, they're all dying back now

But we've got loads of little cucumbers hiding all around in this area

So we might get quite a lot. The cucumbers, there's some hidden behind there as well, some big ones

But yeah, we're going to get all this cleared because we've got absolutely loads spring bulbs in here

So we need to get all this cleared ready for the spring bulbs coming out this year

So let's get it all cleared. Let's see what we harvest and see how many cucumbers we get

from our cucumber plants that we've got hiding everywhere. So there we have it

We've cleared out all the cucumber plants. We've trimmed back all the salvia

and giving it a good tidy up, ready for all the spring bulbs to start growing

In this area we share a photo of what it looked like with all the spring bulbs last year if you want to have a look at that

So as you can see, it looked absolutely gorgeous. So hopefully we get all the tulips

the hyacinths, the daffodoles, the alliums, all growing back in this area in the springtime

Fingers crossed. So let's see how many cucumbers we harvested from all of them cucumber plants

Let's see. So all together, we've got 17 cucumbers. I don't know what I'm going to do with all these

We're going to be having a lot of cucumber this coming week. But yeah, hopefully some will save

and hopefully it will get it all eaten and we'll hand them out to the family to friends

and hopefully they'll enjoy it. So yeah, these are the market more variety of cucumbers

I've always grown market more cucumbers. They're very bobble-a-like, but they taste delicious when you peel off the skin

and yeah they always seem to do well a good cropper and I've never had any issues with growing market more variety of cucumbers so unfortunately we can't grow cucumbers throughout the year we can't save the plants for next year we have to plant new seeds every single year when we're growing cucumbers so we'll be planting more market more variety of cucumbers come end of March time beginning of April time ready for next year's crop so hopefully fingers crossed
