• We recently bought a house that has an orchard full of well-established apple, pear, and plum trees but we were struggling to pick the fruit that was high up. We tried ladders, sticks, shaking branches, etc but in the end, I bought this along with the 2.2 to 4m extending pole
• We managed to pick every single apple and pear on every single tree with ease. In fact, it’s quite addictive using this to pick fruit, my neighbor popped over and I was showing him how it works and I couldn’t get it back off him he was genuinely having fun trying to steady a 4m pole with a fruit picker on the end.
• At 2.2m it’s very easy to maneuver but at full extension with the fruit picker in the end it does require some upper body strength and co-ordination to use but well worth it.

If the fruit doesn’t release with a slight tug on it then it’s probably not ripe enough to pick yet anyway so move on to the next one and left it until next time.
