- I top dressed my lawn with soil in order to take out some of the hollows and my wife panicked that the lawn was going to be unusable for the summer but fear not! This seed was sprinkled over the soil and raked in, watered twice daily and within about 8-10 days the lawn looked pretty good again and within a month you couldn’t tell I’d done any work to it at all. This is great seed and germinates really quickly, you just need to make sure you cover it with soil and keep it moist.

- Amazing grass seed! When we moved in the previous owners had killed off every patch of grass with illegal pesticides! So we had a barren wasteland garden. I sprinkled grass seeds over the lawn and topped with about an inch of manure from wickes. For 2 weeks there was nothing then all of a sudden it started growing and the pictures you see are 2 weeks after it started to grow. We nervously mowed it but it held up and seems to be well rooted. Top tip: water your grass when growing twice a day! Don’t soak it so there’s massive puddles but it should look visibly “wet”. After it’s grown I’ve still been watering twice a day just a quick sprinkle and there is not even a hint of it going brown and this whole week has not dipped below 25c. It looks so lush. We did our lawn one half at a time and have just started on the other half (we wanted to make sure it worked before buying more seed) the other side was baked in the sun as clay mud so like concrete. So I soaked the driest bits and then used a fork to poke the soil and just push in any mud cracks. I turned it over a little but not much as I didn’t want a rocky uneven garden. Must of liked the soil being turned though as the other side took just 1 week to sprout through as opposed to the other side which took 2. No doubt I’m going to have a beautiful garden when this is all done!
