- You get what you pay for, and Wolf Garten are the best. This bit of kit will last a lifetime, and it cuts through small branches with ease. I’d say it’s less good for the really tiny branches because when it’s at the end of a really tall pole, it’s heavy, and hard to line up exactly right for the tiny twigs, but once you DO line it up it cuts through them without feeling like it’s even cutting anything. I’m not a strong lady so others might not find it heavy, I’m just describing my experience. But in terms of cutting, I couldn’t cut through branches even half the thickness with normal hand-held cutters; this gadget is really powerful. I sometimes get myself tangled up in the long line, but that’s my idiocy rather than any design fault (plus I haven’t attached the ‘line tidy’ which comes supplied and keeps the line clipped to the side of the pole). Basically, this is a great bit of kit and you need to pay for the quality!
