- I’m super impressed with these loppers. I’ve been using them to chop back a massive laurel bush that has some branches as thick as my wrist and these loppers can even get through those. The ratchet action was a revelation – it means that the power of each cut is multiplied and they automatically slip up a gear with each cut if more strength is needed for thicker cutting. Maybe I just haven’t used ratcheted loppers or pruners before and this is normal, but it’s my first ones with this amazing super strength mechanical aid and it’s truly upgraded my gardening abilities.
- If you’ve got thick branches that you need to cut back then these will do the job. They’re not going to chop down trees of course so don’t go forcing them or you’ll break them like any tool, but these are great and I’d recommend them to anyone.
