Other reviewers have added the detail that you need to know so I will just say that after receiving the tool this morning I cut and sawed through the branches of my ‘very much in need of pruning’ cherry tree in minutes. The saw is uber sharp and the cutter snips 30-40mm branches with ease. At one point I had it fully extended with my arms outstretched to saw through a thick branch: the tool isn’t very heavy and didn’t make my arms ache because once the blade is resting on the branch the weight is taken, and literally 2 minutes of gentle sawing did the job. I’m pleased I bought this instead of a £100 step ladder and fumbling around with a large wood saw and loppers.
However, a word of warning: If you have the tool fully extended, be careful when it comes to lowering it back. I held the tool near the clamp with my left hand as I unscrewed the clamping nut, and the bar shot down with the metal bracket bashing against my fingers like a guillotine lol. No harm done but be careful.
