- Start feeding roses
- Prune roses back to encourage new growth
- Cut back any old dead foliage off your perennials. This will encourage new growth
- Trim heather back that have flowered over winter. This will prevent them from becoming leggy
- Keep an eye out for the slugs coming out to look for the new growth and the warm weather.
- Deadhead winter pansies to encourage new growth in spring and to stop them setting to seed
- You can now cut back hydrangeas. Cut about 1/3 of last years growth off.
