- Ordered despite reading the negative reviews. Planted 40 bulbs in quite compacted, heavy clay lawn. I love that I haven’t destroyed the turf by digging it up. I’ve got another 350 bulbs to go. There is a trick to using it; you need to twist it back and forth into the ground. Release of dirt and turf clod via handle worked well. Can’t see what all the negative fuss is about.
- I was astonished by some of the reviews that say that this bends or breaks. It is very well made and works perfectly. Perhaps some users were standing on it to force into hard ground which is definitely not the way to use it.
