How to Freeze Garlic

Here we will give you an easy step by step process on how to freeze your Garlic so that you can use them at a later date and not waste any food.

  1. Wash the dirt off the garlic if you have grown your own.
  2. Break the galic bulb in to cloves and peel
  3. Chop the garlic into pieces.
  4. Place the garlic pieces in a zip lock freezer bag with the date on
  5. Place the bag of garlic in the freezer.
  6. Store the garlic in the freezer for upto 6 months
  7. Remove the garlic as and when needed.

It is better to freeze the garlic in pieces rather than as a bulb as they can go mushy when thawed.
