- My previous weather station (from Maplin) died after 2 years. I looked for a replacement and decided the Youshiko looked to be a professional outfit, giving me much more data than my previous one. Ordered from Amazon and arrived within a couple of days. I set up the station as per instructions but sadly was unable to stabilise the screen. I contacted the supplier via Amazon and within 10 minutes got a request from the supplier for my telephone contact number. I duly supplied and got a call from them within minutes. The chap I spoke to was very helpful and professional and talked me through a setup procedure which reset the station (the procedure he took me through was more complicated than that described in the supplied manual). The RCC function kicked in within 15 minutes and the display was complete. I like the fact that you are able to change the display colours. All in all, I’m very pleased with the product and would highly recommend this station for anyone looking for a weather station. I would also highly recommend Youshiko, particularly for their professional help and support
- Our old weather station died so we purchased this model to replace it with. It is far superior to our old one and exceptionally well made and it certainly does very well indeed what it says on the tin. We are very happy with it because it is plugged into the mains so is always illuminated which is brilliant so you can see at a glance what you want to know. Another good point is you can select what colour you would like the display in, or if you fancy select random and let it surprise you. We can not sing the praises high enough for this piece of equipment, what more can I say it is brilliant and so was the service we had when purchasing it.

- I really like this Youshiko Wireless Weather Station because it is easy to setup and has a clear uncluttered display. A further advantage is that the radio controlled clock uses the UK based MSF time signal so you don’t have to set the location or time zone as with a DCF type radio clock where the signal is received from Germany which you’ll also have to adjust for BST manually. The main unit and sensor are each powered by 2 AA batteries.
- The outdoor sensor features a mini LCD display showing temperature and radio channel. The display unit can be sited a considerable distance from the sensor without losing connection and will show you the time, indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity and weather forecast. As far as I can see the readings are pretty accurate and the display has good contrast and large text. You can add additional sensors if you wish plus there are a number of useful features including an ice alert, alarm and blue backlight.
- I’ve had this weather station a while now and am very happy with it in terms of looks, build quality and accuracy especially in view of its modest price.

- I purchased this unit to replace a rather larger one that I’d had for some time, which was a bit too big. This one is about the size of an A5 envelope and it has a neat stand so that it can be tucked away in the corner of my kitchen.
- It is USB or battery (2 x AAA) powered, but although there is a lead supplied, neither mains plug nor batteries were included which is a bit annoying but it’s the only negative aspect of the product. The widget that you place outside also requires batteries (not supplied ?). Nevertheless, it calibrated very quickly with the unit and displayed the correct temperature within the space of about 20 mins. I tried operating from battery at first, but realised that the backlight doesn’t light until you touch the button on the top, and even then it isn’t lit for long as I guess it’s been programmed to preserve battery life. I wanted to be able to see it from afar, so I promptly looked out a mains lead to use with the USB and that resolved my issue.
- The detail on the screen is excellent. It has a kind of 3D effect which adds to its appeal. You can personalise the setup to whatever units you wish the readings to measure in (eg Centigrade, Fahrenheit, etc). It shows indoor and outside temperature and humidity, pressure, date, moon phase and forecast, added to which there are trend ratings for each measurement which I have found to be consistently accurate.
- I am delighted with this product and would recommend it highly, with the caveat that you need to supply your own AA batteries and USB mains plug.

- The Youshiko weather station was purchased to replace my old Scientific Atlanta station that has served me well for over 10 years. How much better is the new one? I love the display; it gives me trends that the old unit did not. It also picks up the transmitter channel without any fuss (the old one was AWFUL to set up, whereas this one is simply a case of installing the batteries & within 10 seconds it has found the signal channel).
- It’s a very compact unit, with a VERY crisp LCD display. 3 AAA batteries in the main unit & 2 in the sender. It sets itself up with defaults to degrees Celcius &, of course, the time in 12 hour format. A very good purchase!
