Ingredients:-
- 200g caster sugar
- 3 tablespoons plain flour
- 500g sliced fresh strawberries
- 375g diced rhubarb
- Crumble topping
- 200g plain flour
- 225g dark brown soft sugar
- 225g butter
- 80g rolled oats
Method:-
- Preheat the oven to 190 C / Gas 5.
- In a large bowl, mix caster sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, strawberries and rhubarb. Place the mixture in a 22x33cm baking dish.
- Mix 200g flour, brown sugar, butter and oats until crumbly. You may want to use a pastry blender for this. Crumble on top of the rhubarb and strawberry mixture.
- Bake 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until crisp and lightly browned.
